Being a passionate gamer I spend a lot of hours in my favorite games and apps. Besides just playing them, I like to get inspired by the different aspects on how
they craft their interfaces and flows.
There's a certain thrill in the little things: uncovering extraordinary font choices that give games a unique edge, or discovering how the latest smash-hit game has masterfully structured their main menu and how I can learn and incorporate these into my own works.
I'm a novelity chaser that loves to check every game and product, no matter if it's on pc, console or mobile, just to see how they've set up their inventory shortcuts or if they made their notification toasts interactive.
Professionally I'm an engaged, adaptable and user-centric designer with over a decade in the games industry.
With knowledge of designing for web, mobile, console and PC, I am flexible with tools and pipelines for all platforms.
In my carreer I've gathered a broad range of game development experience that helps me understand and communicate clearly with all departments.
My main focus is on user interfaces, user experience and concept development but I'm always eager to gather new insights in other areas to get a better, hollistic understanding of product development.
Establishing and improving processes to improve the UI & UX pipeline is a key strength of mine as scalability was a big factor in most projects I've worked on.
In my latest roles I took on mentoring & coaching other UI / UX Designers and support them in their professional development.
